IN : CAT & THE MINT
A new European revelation, the charismatic young German with a distinct voice – Cat Lee King - accompanied by the cream of French rhythm'n'blues – The Mint - passionately performs a repertoire heavily influenced by the music of the 40s/50s.
Cat Lee King's radiant stage presence, his talents as a pianist and singer, and the powerhouse team surrounding him, literally captivate the audience. With a pianistic style inherited from Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, or Amos Milburn, and his raspy "Blues Shouter" voice, he revives the great names of this music, offering a repertoire ranging from the most roots blues to the wildest rock'n'roll, through finely crafted swings with lively and dazzling riffs.
Vocals & piano: Cat Lee King
Tenor saxophone: Mathias Luszpinski
Baritone saxophone: François Sabin
Double bass: Stéphane Barral
Drums: Simon Boyer
