OFF : Jazzmagnac

For the opening of the festival, return to the sources with Jean-Claude ESCALE leader of the group JAZZMAGNAC which had inaugurated the birth of Puym' Jazz and which returns with in its luggage the saxophonist Christophe TELLEZ which ignited the scene a few years ago. Thanks to these friendships, a choice start is assured!
IN : Les Fils Canouche

Under their experienced fingers, the wild pomp and double bass sway in tune, while the melodic volutes of a virtuoso bass clarinet cross paths with the flights of a freewheeling accordion. Exploring relentlessly the acoustic energies at the four cardinal points, Les Fils Canouche land on the rhythmic lands of a wild tango, a 5-beat waltz or a gypsy rumba. As spirited disciples of a modern Django or a resurrected Piazzolla, they blur the musical and temporal boundaries for the pure pleasure of gypsy swing.
This fertile quartet without blinkers is composed of :
Samuel Thésé on clarinets
Xavier Margogne on guitar
Maryll Abbas on accordion
Stéphane Cozic on double bass
4 musicians at the height of their art, brilliantly combining emotion and energy, elegance and virtuosity.
